Student Experience

“This semester, I have been interning with Global Peace Foundation. I have been conducting research about international religious freedom, which has allowed me to pursue my interest in international human rights and learn about the non-profit space. Because Global Peace Foundation is a global organization with offices in multiple countries, I have discovered a connection between the global focus of my major and my passion for human rights advocacy. The Experiential Education Stipend has allowed me to pursue this amazing opportunity without having to worry about the financial concerns that often come with unpaid internships. Because of the stipend, I have been able to explore future career paths and gain a deeper understanding of non-profit work through real experience.”
