UPCOMING CAREER EVENTS

The Georgia Tech Career Center offers career programming via our Workshops, but also provide an avenue for our employer partners to meet with our students via Employer Information Sessions.    These events are held either in-person or virtually.   Below are a list of the upcoming events that are being offered.   NOTE:  If you want to learn more about these events, you will need to have access to our CareerBuzz system.

Career Bootcamp 3: Interviewing & Salary Negotiation (Virtual)

Virtual Event

Learn how to be ready for any interview, including behavioral and technical interviews. Offers tend to come shortly after interviewing, so join us to talk about how to evaluate your job offer and negotiate your salary. By the end of this session, students will be able to:

Understand how to evaluate job or internship offers (salary, benefits, location, culture, etc.).
Know how to research market salary ranges using credible resources.
Engage in professional and ethical salary/offer negotiations.

Career Center Drop-In Hours (January 12 – April 28, 1:00 – 3:00 PM Bill Moore SSC Basement Festival Level Lobby)

Bill Moore Student Success Center – Basement Festival Level

Drop-ins are conducted Monday through Friday from 1:00-3:00pm in-person during the fall and spring semesters. These will begin the first day of class and end the last day of class each semester.
Drop-ins will not be held during the All Majors Career Fair, Resume Reviews with Employers & Professionals events before the All Majors Career Fair, university holidays, breaks, or exam periods. Students are encouraged to schedule in-person or virtual appointments when drop-ins are not in session.
Drop-ins are intended to be quick 10 to 15-minute career conversations. If you need more help beyond a 10 or 15-minute drop-in, please schedule an appointment through CareerBuzz by clicking the Counseling tab.
