Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following:
- Update internal and external marketing assets with the most accurate information (i.e., NRG Park website, static marquee board, social media platforms).
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
- Design and create visual content for our website and other digital channels.
- Assist in print and broadcast trade for various events.
- Assist in drafting media alerts, press releases, articles, and reports.
- Assist in building marketing plans for concerts and events.
- Assist with designing presentations and other visual aids for client meetings.

- Attend various meetings pertaining to the department and upcoming events on the property.
- Attend events to assist staff in the execution of marketing, media, or social media operations.

In this role the intern will help to improve tools used for product security screening and workflow management. The work will be done primarily in the Jira and Confluence Atlassian tools (using Apache Groovy) and Python, although other programming languages may be needed for specific tasks.

Departmental Mission Statement: The Housing Court is a court of limited jurisdiction that adjudicates civil and criminal actions involving claims in law and equity related to the health, safety, or welfare of the occupants and owners of residential property in Massachusetts. The Court hears summary process (eviction), small claims, and civil actions that involve claims for personal injury, property damage, breach of contract, and discrimination.
The Housing Court also adjudicates code enforcement actions and appeals of local zoning board decisions affecting residential property. The Housing Court has fifteen justices sitting in six divisions (Eastern, Northeast, Southeast, Metro-South, Western and Central) and conducts sessions in over 20 locations every week.
The Housing Court has statewide jurisdiction.

Position Summary: The intern, under the supervision and guidance of the Western Division of the Housing Court, will work on a variety of assignments that will involve the administration and development of the Court’s business and operations.
The intern should be able to provide a broad range of skilled and confidential administrative support. In addition, the Western Division Housing Court may assign the intern responsibility for longer term projects. The Western Division Court has jurisdiction in the following counties (Hampshire, Franklin, Hampden, Berkshire).
The intern may be called upon to accompany the Western Division Housing Court staff and travel across the Commonwealth if/when the need arises.
The interns daily duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist with case management system and in running court metrics
Assist in reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
Assist with the management of project schedules and deliverables Assist in answering calls and responding to requests or questions from the public

The lab has developed methods to decipher gene cis-regulatory mechanisms from transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics and three-dimensional (3D) chromatin interaction perspectives.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Research Intern to join our dynamic, hybrid, and highly collaborative lab. This computational genomics candidate is expected to leverage the single-cell/bulk-cell multi-omics data, spatial omics data, and image data to reveal the cancer-specific mechanism that underlies the differential efficacies and toxicities of treatment across patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to pioneering biological, clinically important and methodologically challenging problems by innovating cutting-edge statistical models and computational methods.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Solid training in Statistics/Mathematics:
Past course or research training in statistics, including but not limited to mathematical statistics, statistical inference, and linear regression.
- Strong computational skills:
- Proficient in programming languages R, Python, and Shell, has extensive usage of high-performance computing environments on Linux servers, and knows how to submit batch-run jobs.
- Experienced in processing and analyzing bulk/single-cell genomic data or spatial omics data or image data.
- Experienced in developing computational tools, such as R package, Python module, interactive webpage, and computational pipelines.
- Ability to conduct highly organized and reproducible research.
- Strong communication, writing, and collaboration ability. Publication(s) and manuscript(s) under review are recommended to demonstrate academic writing ability.
