Student Experience |
Prior to doing my two co-op rotations, I didn’t have a strong idea of what I could do with my degree. My co-op helped me to discover my passion for research and development, especially within the medical device segment. Throughout my first two rotations, I was able to watch two of the projects I worked on reach a launch, and interviewed several users of these devices who expressed how the device would greatly improve our patients’ quality of life. In addition to the knowledge gained into the professional engineering world, I also built strong connections with my coworkers, many of whom are mentors or friends. I’m grateful for the Wohlford scholarship for allowing me to continue with my next rotation in Colorado and helping to alleviate the financial burden of college. |
