During my co-op at Itential, I worked on real-world network automation challenges, developing and optimizing software solutions using Node.js and MongoDB. Beyond technical skills, I gained valuable experience in communication and collaboration by learning from full-time engineers. I especially appreciated when a senior engineer took an hour at the whiteboard to walk me through Itential’s conventions for writing JavaScript comments and functions. This experience not only strengthened my engineering abilities but also prepared me for real-world teamwork and problem-solving. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to apply these skills in my future career. |
