The co-op program at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations has provided me with a wealth of both experience and meaningful connections I had been struggling to find when I initially enrolled in university. The professional experience at the workplace and advice from mentors of the co-op program has greatly informed my experience in university, and I’ve found applications for what I’ve learned from my co-op in many of the classes I’ve taken at Georgia Tech. Receiving the Wohlford scholarship has greatly alleviated the financial stress that was weighing down on me in my previous semesters, which I’m very thankful as I’ve been able to spend more time focusing on academics, research, and developing my personal and career-oriented skills. |
