Student Experience

“My name is Merritt Blum and I am a senior ISyE student from Peachtree Corners, GA. A key factor in my decision to come to Georgia Tech was the incredible opportunity of the co-op program, which promised to diversify the collegiate experience and immerse students into the corporate world surrounding campus. What I did not anticipate was how transformative this program would be for me, thanks to my experience at Chick-fil-A, Inc. in its Digital Transformation & Technology program. Through three rotations, I worked on interesting projects and was inspired by so many mentors and friends. The seamless integration of classroom theory with practical application accelerated my learning and instilled in me a proactive approach to problem-solving. I enthusiastically recommend the co-op program to others and express my profound gratitude to The James G. and Mary G. Wohlford Scholarship Fund for making such transformative experiences possible.”
