“As a co-op with McKenney’s, I was exposed not only to the office personnel, but unionized field members that allowed me much more insight into the industry. I worked in a team of office and field staff to help in the building of 40 story GWCC hotel near the Benz. I worked on quantity and material tracking as well as inventory tracking and managing multiple millions of dollars in material funds. The experience allowed me to work on supply chain on a more detailed level of moving products from vendors to McKennedy’s warehouse to job sites. McKenney’s was such a fun and enthusiastic work environment to spend the first term of my co-op in. I learned from everyone in my department and got to experience the progress of construction around Atlanta, GA up close. |
