“Delta, and specifically my team in Global Clean, have poured into me to provide me with skills that make me an amazing candidate for employment after graduation. Technically, I have been provided the opportunity to hone my technical skills in Tableau, Python, and SQL, as well as learn completely new software like SAS. I have learned so much about project management using project charters and the ability to own and lead my own project plans. I have learned so much from them about navigating relationships in the workplace, and how even though work is important, we are people first. I am so grateful I co-oped because I have been able to foster these relationships for longer than 10 weeks like a normal internship, and I feel like these people really appreciate me, for not only the work I do but also for who I am. I have grown a lot since coming to college. Some of that growth is owed to Georgia Tech, and some to my friends of course, but most, I believe, is owed to my co-op at Delta Air Lines. Co-oping has provided me the opportunity to gain so much real-world professional experience, learn new skills and life lessons, and have some of the absolute best memories of my college career.
