“I am thankful to have been awarded the Wohlford Scholarship for Spring 2023. Last semester, I had the opportunity to work for Cox Communications, a telecommunication company providing internet and network services, for my first co-op rotation. The experiences I had during my first rotation were phenomenal. I was assigned to a Business Pricing Analytics position, which aligns with my area of study. I was able to apply skills and knowledge I have learned at Georgia Tech to my workplace. I was also able to gain hands-on experience with the actual business operations and learn to use new tools, which will be very helpful for my future career. Ultimately, what I enjoyed the most was to see how I was making real impacts and contributing to the company. The financial support from Wohlford Scholarship means a lot to me. It has alleviated my financial burden paying the tuition and allowed me to take extra online courses to prepare for my second rotation. I’d like to express my special thanks to Briaerean Honor Society, Wohlford Scholarship donors, and the Career Center for awarding me this scholarship.” |
