“The scholarship has mainly benefited me by helping me pay for rent, groceries, and textbooks for school. Because of this, I have been able to reside in midtown rather than commuting from my hometown. First and foremost, living in Atlanta was a large factor in my decision to complete a co-op with Delta Air Lines. With easy access to Delta’s global headquarters, I was able to work as a data analyst in-person—improving data processes, identifying pain points in the airline experience, and delivering real impact across several airport hubs by leading new projects. This scholarship has allowed me to go above and beyond at Georgia Tech, creating an experience that expands beyond classes and degrees. Thanks to this scholarship, the co-op program, and the career center, I have been able to expand my network and gain vital experience and skills crucial to my career. Therefore, I would like to say thank you again from the bottom of my heart—I will be forever grateful for the opportunities that Georgia Tech and its donors provide for students. You spark these amazing opportunities, and I know they cannot be found anywhere else!” |
