Student Experience |
“Through my co-op with NASA’s Johnson Space Center, I had the opportunity to use the knowledge I learned in the classroom to solve real world engineering problems and advance human spaceflight. At NASA, I received training and hands-on experience which supplemented my Georgia Tech education to better prepare me for work as an engineer. I also worked in several different divisions which allowed me to experiment with what I liked and narrow in on a specialty for graduate school and my career. On top of that, I got to talk with astronauts, work on rocket engines, and drive a moon rover— all of which were just plain fun! I’m very grateful for my co-op experience, and I’m equally grateful for the Wohlford Scholarship. During my last semester at Tech, the Wohlford Scholarship has allowed me to not be concerned with money and instead focus on finishing my degree and preparing for graduate school!” |
