“One of my most memorable experiences at Georgia Tech was the Co-op program. I worked at Home Depot’s Merchandising Solutions in three different teams: Assortment Planning, Supplier Analytics, and Pricing Strategy. The work experience I got from a Co-op program was a priceless experience that I could never get in a classroom. The retail and business concepts I learned from the program helped me understand how the retail ecosystem works and different organizations in a company interact with each other. The soft skills I learned helped me communicate with other team members and improved my leadership. Most importantly, I learned how to tell stories to an audience. After finishing my co-op, I truly felt like I was ready to work as a full-time employee.” |
