“The Co-op program has provided me the opportunity to gain real world engineering experience in college. It has allowed me to apply what I learned in school directly in the workplace. Not only has it helped me gain a deeper understanding of the subjects, but it has also helped me appreciate the work I was doing more. I was able to gain a lot of knowledge and network in the aerospace industry at Gulfstream Corporation. Receiving the Wohlford scholarship has helped lighten my financial stress and has allowed me to focus on my degree and career. I can now put a lot more of my savings towards a healthier lifestyle as well as graduate school applications in the upcoming future. I am thankful for the co-op opportunity as well as receiving the Wohlford scholarship.” |
