The Georgia Tech Career Center offers career programming via our Workshops, but also provide an avenue for our employer partners to meet with our students via Employer Information Sessions. These events are held either in-person or virtually. Below are a list of the upcoming events that are being offered. PhD Networking Night with Employers Valuing Doctoral Expertise (In-Person)

Bill Moore Student Success Center – President’s Suites A – DThe Georgia Tech Career Center is excited to invite you to PhD Networking Night with Employers Valuing Doctoral Expertise on Thursday, October 23, 2025! This in-person NETWORKING event provides a unique opportunity for PhD students and PostDocs to connect in a relaxed setting with employers and alumni who recognize the invaluable advantages that PhDs bring to their organizations.
The evening is divided into two key segments.
- 4:45 pm: Check-in begins
- 5:00 – 600 pm: Employer career panel discussion
- 6:00 – 7:00 pm: Networking with employers from a wide variety of industries
Discover potential career paths, gain insights from employer panels, and forge valuable connections during our focused networking session. Don’t miss this chance to explore a range of industries and connect with employers who understand the value of your PhD journey. Please note that this event is NOT a Career Fair.
Light refreshments and beverages will be provided. RSVP is not required but appreciated!
