What does the Georgia Tech Career Center mean to you?

To me, the Georgia Tech Career Center represents a vital resource and a source of immense support. My experience with career advisors, like Ms. Andrea, Ms. Ariel and Ms. Iteeah, has been transformative in shaping my approach to job searching, especially as an international student navigating the complexities of OPT/CPT and sponsorship policies.

I’m passionate about personal and professional development and believe that I can make a significant impact as a student ambassador. I aim to share effective job search strategies, such as crafting a compelling elevator pitch, creating a well-organized resume with the STAR method, writing engaging cover letters, and leveraging reference letters and LinkedIn for networking. My goal is to help fellow students, especially those facing unique challenges, utilize the Career Center’s resources to achieve a successful recruiting season.
