“Getting the opportunity to intern with the ACLU of Georgia’s Voting Access Project has been the highlight of my college experience. I’ve been able to work alongside attorneys and activists towards equity, access, and civil rights for all Georgians through legal action and legislative advocacy. I have built on skills and knowledge that I first built at Georgia Tech, and have been able to apply through the Georgia Legislative Session and the upcoming primary elections for the 2022 midterms. The Experiential Education Stipend allowed me to focus all of my energy on my work, so that I didn’t have to stress about taking an unpaid internship that has left me feeling fulfilled in the work that I’ve done.”
