Iteeah Pounds started her professional career in Corporate America as a Human Resources and Training professional. Currently, she is employed with the Georgia Institute of Technology as the Assistant Director, Co-op and Internship Programs. Iteeah began her Higher Education Career at the University of West Georgia where she connected employers with students for career and internship opportunities.
Iteeah has made a personal commitment to make a difference in the community and have a Positive impact on its future. As a result of this commitment, she is actively involved in various professional and community organizations. Iteeah’s community involvement includes past Trustee for the West Georgia Regional Library Board in Douglas County appointed by Commissioner Kelly Robinson, and Douglas County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Douglas, Class of 2016.
Iteeah received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University and a master’s degree from the University of West Georgia.
