Georgia Tech’s Career Education & College of Sciences presents Under the Scope: Pitching Your Science, a unique alumni networking and coaching event designed to help science majors position themselves for success at the All-Majors Career Fair. Taking place just over a week before the fair, this two-hour event transforms a traditional space into an open, dynamic environment where students can engage one-on-one with alumni who have walked in their shoes and succeeded. With high-top tables replacing auditorium seating, the atmosphere encourages real talk, rapid feedback, and practical coaching on how to pitch your scientific strengths to recruiters from all industries.

Students from all College of Sciences majors—Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, EAS, Neuroscience, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology—will benefit from tailored guidance on how to effectively communicate the value of their degrees. Whether it’s translating research experience into business impact, framing technical coursework as problem-solving, or simply finding the right words to tell your story, this event will give you an edge.
