Find Your Why: The What and How of Leadership Development

GEORGIA TECH HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTER – CONFERENCE ROOM B
Leadership Conference
The XBO Experience will bring a new focus to ongoing and emerging trends, as well as educate newer professionals about the industry’s best practices and proven methods. XBO is the perfect way to prepare new leaders for a generational shift underway now. The “Find Your Why” session will focus on the first step to becoming a leader – deciding that you truly want to be one. Leadership does not correlate directly to a person’s job title or their rank. It has everything to do with mindset. When we put others before ourselves, we have the mindset of a leader, and this can trickle down into a desire to change things for the better, inspire others, and improve yourself. Leadership is also not something which can be measured by metrics alone. It is also difficult to determine the success of a leader over a short time. The way to look at whether someone is a successful leader is based upon the investment provided to others, and the output those individuals produce, which may not be visible right away.

What Sierra Does
Sierra is the conversational AI platform for businesses. We enable consumer brands like Sonos, ADT, and AG1 deploy their own AI agent to elevate their customer experience with AI.
Sierra Tech Talk
Sierra AI agents are transforming customer experiences in the real world. They are helping customers set up Sonos speakers, refresh SiriusXM radios, and process OluKai shoe returns and exchanges. As we’ve scaled with our early customers, we’ve pioneered the field of Agent Engineering and developed the Agent Development Life Cycle to effectively build, test, and optimize AI agents at scale.
In this talk, Zack Reneau-Wedeen will discuss how Sierra builds AI agents to handle millions of customer interactions, how our unique business model adapts from customer service to sales, and how we solved challenges building agents that run anywhere (e.g. over both chat and voice).
Special Announcement
Georgia Tech will be the first college we visit after announcing our new grad roles on 11/11, including a first-of-its-kind new rotational program. Zack will also review the details live and take Q&A.

- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
