Ebony Mobley joined the Career Center at Georgia Tech in 2022, as the Director of Employer Connections. Ebony has worked in career development for over 18 years and oversees the Employer Connections Team and campus stakeholders, to grow and maintain co-op, internship, and full-time opportunities for Georgia Tech students. In this role, Ebony also provides opportunities for students to explore and secure employment, as well as develop and promote connections between employers, students, and campus partners.
Before joining Georgia Tech, Ebony worked in the Career Development Office at the University of Georgia School of Law as the Employer Relations Manager. In this position, she cultivated relationships with and between employers, the law school, and law students to maximize student employment outcomes. She also managed off-campus interview programs and employer-related data. Prior to her work at University of Georgia, Ebony provided public interest career advising and employment development to students at Emory University School of Law. She was also a recruitment administrator for The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law managing on- and off-campus interview programs and providing career counseling.
Ebony earned a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Management from Ohio Dominican University.
Ebony serves as the President of the Young Professionals Council for Georgia Appleseed: Center for Law and Policy, where she is also a Board member. She is also a member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association.
