1.) What company have you co-oped with?
2.) What were some exciting assignments you worked on?
I designed October onboard menus for Delta One and Delta Premium Select cabins that reached 600,000 passengers, integrating a marketing campaign section in partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Seeing the menus that I helped design onboard the plane was a surreal experience.
I had the opportunity to lead a sustainability project where we upcycled 11,000 garments into 200 tote bags. Creating a structured plan and working with multiple teams showed me how organization can turn an idea into environmental impact.
I also helped define requirements, conduct UX research, and prototype new features on the Delta Seatbacks to enhance in-flight entertainment for millions of travelers.
3.) What was your favorite thing about the co-op?
My favorite part of the co-op was seeing the decisions I made come to life on Delta’s planes. It was clear that Delta puts customers at the center of everything, and getting to contribute to products that directly impact their experience was incredibly rewarding.
4.) What are your future plans and how did your co-op influence them?
After graduation, I’ll be moving to New York to become a Digital Strategy Consulting Analyst at Adobe. My co-op helped prepare me for this next step by giving me experience in a professional environment and exposing me to digital experiences like Delta’s seatback screens. I now understand the value of designing with the customer at the center, which will guide my approach as I help brands build better digital strategies.
