1.) What company have you co-oped with?
2.) What were some exciting assignments you worked on?
An exciting assignment I worked on was building a business case surrounding the financial implications of an online chat feature on the CoxApp. Calls are expensive for the business, so offering the optionality of an online chat function to customers created a more seamless customer experience as well as presented huge operational savings for the company. This was my first time leading client meetings, building models on my own, and presenting my findings to senior leadership so it was a great opportunity for both professional and personal growth!
3.) What was your favorite thing about the co-op?
Hands down my favorite thing about the co-op was all the people I met. I was fortunate enough to even travel with my team to a field visit in New Orleans where we toured facilities, retail stores, and distribution centers. I grew such a network of mentors who I still keep in touch with today, and I am so grateful to have them in my corner as I embark on my professional career.
4.) What are your future plans and how did your co-op influence them?
My co-op has provided unequivocal guidance and support in finding a full-time job. My future plans are still up in the air, and will either be to attend graduate school studying public health or join a firm working full-time.
