Why Register Co-ops/Internships?
The benefits of engaging in either the co-op or internship programs are many. Students who pursue these experiences are able to:

Benefits for Registering with the Career Center
Students who secure a co-op are required to register each one of their work terms with the Career Center. Students who receive an internship offer are strongly encouraged to register with the Career Center as registration provides the following benefits:
- Enrollment in a CO-OP or INTN tuition free audit course
- Audit hours are recorded on the official transcript
- Earnings do not affect FAFSA status
- Maintain active student status during your work terms
- Cancelation of housing without penalty if working 25 miles or more from campus
- Support from the Career Center during your work terms
- Eligibility for co-op scholarships
- Eligibility for membership in the Briaerean Honors Society
- Co-op designation on the graduation diploma at the completion of the 3 work terms (Co-op Program Only)
