Given the Atlanta forecast, which continues to indicate the possibility of winter weather over the weekend and into early next week—including snow and ice that could affect travel—we want to be mindful of everyone’s safety. We are evaluating potential impacts not only for Monday and Tuesday, but also for Sunday afternoon and evening when fair setup is scheduled. In addition, the State of Georgia has issued a state of emergency in anticipation of a significant weather event expected this weekend, with effects likely to extend into Monday and Tuesday.
With that in mind, the Spring All-Majors Career Fair will shift to a virtual format (both Monday and Tuesday) to avoid any potential risks. We understand this change may cause inconvenience, and we genuinely appreciate your flexibility and understanding. This was not our preferred outcome, but your safety remains our priority.
We will be using the Career Fair+ platform for the virtual event, which enables you to engage with students through group sessions and/or one‑on‑one conversations. Your company’s profile has already been added to the platform.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if I lose power or internet access?
The resume drop feature will ensure employers can still access your resume even if you lose power or lose connection. We are also planning a makeup date, which will be announced later.
What if the campus is closed?
The career fair is fully virtual, so you will still be able to participate even if the campus is closed. Also have your phone nearby as employers can call you from the number on your resume.
How will I talk to employers?
You will sign up for specific meeting times through the Career Fair Plus app. Employers will determine the meeting format (one-on-one or group) and the length of each session.
How long will I get to talk to employers?
Meeting lengths are set by each employer and may vary depending on their recruiting needs.
I’m interested in a specific employer, but it won’t let me schedule. Why?
Employers can set filters based on their hiring needs (such as major, academic year). If you do not meet their criteria, the system may not allow you to schedule a meeting with them. We encourage you to use the resume drop feature in this case.
Should I still dress professionally?
Yes. Please dress in business casual or professional attire and be mindful of your background and surroundings during virtual meetings.
What does “resume drop” mean?
Resume drop allows you to submit your resume to employers even if you are unable to schedule a meeting with them. This ensures they can still review your information and consider you for opportunities.
