Jahi graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in marketing. While at Georgia Tech, he played football for four years and went on to play professionally for two years with the Detroit Lions.  Jahi grew up in Gulfport, MS before moving to Hoover, AL in his early teens. Now a current resident of Atlanta, Jahi is married to a fellow Tech alumni, Shaday, and has two young daughters.

Jahi first started with RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. where he has worked since 2012.  Jahi has a strong background in both recruiting and marketing.  For the past five years he had served as Field Talent Acquisition Specialist for South and Southwest Atlanta, managing their full-life cycle recruitment along with other HR functions.  Prior to that, he worked as a marketing promotions specialist with RaceTrac before transitioning into HR. 
 
Jahi transitioned to Southern Company early this year and now supports Georgia Power, Southern Company Gas, Southern Company Shared Services and engages in National Association recruiting efforts as a Campus Recruiting Consultant.
