The ambassador program was established in 2005 as a way to allow students participating in any of the four programs within the Center for Career Discovery and Development to assist in various recruiting related events. Parents as well as potential and current students found that hearing from students who have worked in industry to be very informative. Students who participate in the program have been nominated by their program advisor and are only required to attend a training session which is held every semester and be in good standing with the institute and their employer. Students participate in events that conveniently work with their schedule. Ambassadors have helped with FASET, Connect with Tech, Family Weekend, RATS Week, Orientation Sessions and any other event that the Center for Career Discovery and Development is involved in.
