  • Attach to completed placement form:
    • Offer letter (Must include start/end dates of co-op or internship and exact address of work site.)
    • Copy of I-20 – ONLY International students (Must include employer’s information, as well as start and end date of work term). Important additional information at:  b.gatech.edu/2jhmsVisas
  • Complete a new placement form before EACH semester’s work term.

Note: Co-op work term requirement is at least 16 weeks during a fall or spring semester and at least 12 weeks during a summer semester. Internship term requirements are the same, except at least 10 weeks during a summer semester.

Please be advised that an offer is a contractual agreement. After accepting an offer, please withdraw from further interviewing and notify all companies with pending offers.

  • For co-ops you must have 3 or more academic semesters remaining at start of first work term

Keep in Mind

  • Co-ops must be full-time and paid.
  • Internships can be full or part-time, paid or unpaid.
  • Work experience must be major related.
