Perhaps you've chosen a major, but you're unsure of your options and you're feeling stuck.
Our career counselor can help you locate resources that will allow you to gather information about typical career paths for people with your major. Our career library, located on the second floor of the Bill Moore Student Success Center, has books such as the Encyclopedia of Careers and Vocational Guidance, Occupational Outlook Handbook- here and Dictionary of Occupational Titles.
Computer resources such as the Career Occupational and Information Kingdom (CareerOINK) and Georgia Career Information System (GCIS) are also available. These resources provide information about the nature of the work, educational requirements, salary, outlook for the future, related occupations and much more.
Our career counselor will help you create an action plan as you identify next steps, whether you chose to attend graduate school or conduct a job search.
